Beware when making online reservations, I paid for a premium waterfront lot and they gave us a waterview lot that is behind the waterfront lots. You have to view the water between the motorhomes. I complained to the park manager and her rebuttal was " you're not the first one to complain about this". These waterfront lots are not cheap--$120 a night and I paid for two nights. She was able to move us to a sight by the seawall with an obstructed view of the water. She also said it won't do any good to try to get some type of restitution because the owners won't do it. Read moreThis ramp is built well and intended for large crowds. However, the single lane entry and tight ramp space make it difficult for queued and exiting boats to navigate. The parking area is also a maze, so if you're not familiar with the ramp you'll want to show up a few minutes ahead of your intended launch time to ensure you can launch and park before safe light. Bathrooms are located near the ramp and were relatively clean. The mens room only has urinals, you'll need to use the handicap room, or the women's if you need to sit. There's always something in bloom and usually quite a few butterflies and colorful dragonflies may be seen. Over the years, the city has been expanding the amenities to include multiple picnic spits, soccer ball and other sports fields, white sand "beach" volley ball courts with a large adjacent pavilion, and a quantity of boat docks along the lake shore.
