Beware when making online reservations, I paid for a premium waterfront lot and they gave us a waterview lot that is behind the waterfront lots. You have to view the water between the motorhomes. I complained to the park manager and her rebuttal was " you're not the first one to complain about this". These waterfront lots are not cheap--$120 a night and I paid for two nights. She was able to move us to a sight by the seawall with an obstructed view of the water. She also said it won't do any good to try to get some type of restitution because the owners won't do it. My last time staying here, but do be aware if you do online, more than likely you'll...

This ramp is built well and intended for large crowds. However, the single lane entry and tight ramp space make it difficult for queued and exiting boats to navigate. The parking area is also a maze, so if you're not familiar with the ramp you'll want to show up a few minutes ahead of your intended launch time to ensure you can launch and park before safe light. Bathrooms are located near the ramp and were relatively clean. The mens room only has urinals, you'll need to use the handicap room, or the women's if you need to sit. There is ample room for weigh ins and plenty of shade. Overall it's a pretty good...

We use this park for long walks with our dog along the shaded shoreline boardwalk. It's really lovely. There's always something in bloom and usually quite a few butterflies and colorful dragonflies may be seen. Over the years, the city has been expanding the amenities to include multiple picnic spits, soccer ball and other sports fields, white sand "beach" volley ball courts with a large adjacent pavilion, and a quantity of boat docks along the lake shore. Ample parking and clean bathrooms add to the comfort of park goers. An excellent use of taxpayer $$ in creating a space that all can find a...

When you're fortunate to have beautiful and comfortable weather, this is such an awesome venue! We rented part of the bottom floor, and our party was a huge success. I received a text from the attendant prior to my arrival and she remains on site while the pavilion is rented. No heat, a/c, fridge, or microwave, so you have to bring everything you need for your event. There are fans to help circulate the air. It was clean and tiny, and there was a sign for our event at the door. It's a great venue. Bring your fishing pole.

This is such a lovely place to stop off on the way to/from Orlando if you have the time. Lots of picnic tables and shade, and a lovely boardwalk/fishing pier. Good spot for birdwatching. Wheelchair accessible picnic pavilion. Restrooms, water fountains, small playground area. You can rent space in the large screened in structure for events. This is my new lunch spot whenever I'm in the area, a little shady picnic and birdwatching just a few minutes off the Turnpike.
