Lake Jem Park & Boat Ramp — Attraction in Florida

Beautiful park. Use to meet my best friend here once a week with our kids. They had a blast and us moms just sat back and relaxed. Sadly we lost her on mothers day a few years back and even tho she isnt here with us, I find comfort in the thought that maybe she still meets me here once a week. This park holds great memories. Very hard to find. No signs to point the way until you get close. Nice pavillion & picnic tables & playground for the kids but the parking was terrible. There's a boat ramp, nice I guess for boaters, we didn't use it as we were there for a birthday party. Google maps weren't much help in finding the place. It said that the park would be closed on Sunday ( the day of our party) but I talked to family members that were already there that said it...

Great area and with relatively low density. The park has a small playground with a basketball court. All of the equipment is in good shape and decently maintained. The boat ramp has a larger slope than average and does not extend very far into the water. I've know several trailers to have been damaged while removing boats.
