This is a very modest and powerful park. From 2 baseball fields to a little children's park, to soccer fields, to open grass fields for flying a kite, shooting a bow, or passing a frisbee; to a comfortable over-sized pond/ small lake to grill next to (2 grill set-us are available), to a swimming pool that if you're a little adventurous, jump the fence and swim in solitary peace (they have the pool locked most the year); and trails through pine and oak woods and protected marsh land. This park has what you desire, from quiet peaceful walks alone, to high energy sports space, to sun lounging, to animal watching. Spot some native Florida species such as, Great White Egrets, endangered Red-headed woodpeckers, to cardinals, Ospreys, Bald eagles, endangered Gopher Tortoises, to cotton mouse snakes, rabbits, and a plethora of butterflies and insects. This park satisfies your spirit.
I recommend a stop by for your...
