Lillian Recreational Park — Attraction in Florida

This is a well maintained park. It is getting more beautiful as it ages and the trees are maturing. It's a great place to take the kids to play. There are a lot of things to do here including a children's playground, tennis courts, a walking path with distance markers, and you can even have a little fun doing some Geocaching. What has happened to the park? It appears to be in total collapse. Why would they spend the kind of money on pouring a blacktop when so much maintenance needs to be done. All the shrubbery is overgrown and dead the parking lot is in total shambles most of the fencing needs some type of work the place is a total mess. The average of all the reviews is 4.6 I am assuming that only blind people visit. It's a shame but I'm sure they needed to pour that black top which probably cost...

Just recently found about Lillian Recreational Park in Lillian, AL right off Hwy 98. It is a gem! Lovely, safe, well maintained park to walk with friends and my dogs.
