Paint The Trail — Attraction in Florida

Disappointing... We've known about Mr. Sonksen's art work on Paint the Trail for about six years since when he was involved in the greyhound referendum. Unfortunately, we lived out of the state and this was our first chance to visit the Seminole-Wekiva trail to see the fence firsthand.

To that end, we're a few years too late as the painted sections are now fading into nature with several large sections removed, rotted away, or just overgrown.

What a letdown after the anticipation we had in visiting here. I truly hope that the artist and interested parties can do a rehab on this project and bring it back to its luster. It really must have been something in its day. From what we saw, he truly is a gifted artist with a keen view of...
