I play twice a week. I’ve played for 8 years. I’ve never, in my life experienced a Ranger like the guy Tim. The course sent us off (4 some) and we were behind a 2 some. On hole TWO the guy Tim comes up and asks us what is going on. We said, just playing, having fun. Not a group of the best golfers? Definitely not the worst. We arrive to the green on hole 4 and lo and behold, Tim is back yet again. Tells us it’s our “priority to keep up with group ahead.” So I asked the guy, “how many are in front of us” and he lets us know “2” and I said “we cannot feasibly keep up with a 2 if we are a 4” and the nice guy Tim lets us know that “at his club, no matter what, you keep up with the next group.”
So, I will say, guys in the clubhouse, awesome (appreciate you Mark), starter, awesome. Course, awesome.
But your ranger Tim is the worst I have ever seen. A 2 in front of us. Our 4. And a 2 behind.
I called the clubhouse and said figure your dude out and he comes back and tells us he moved the guys behind us ahead.
Cool. We played the same holes as those guys 4 out of 9 out of the holes.
Our cart said we were “2 min ahead” when tim was complaining. Moved the guys and got up to 12 min ahead at one point.
I have never in my entire life met a ranger that was this explicitly rude to my party when we were going to let the guys behind us play through on the first par 3.
Will not be back. Our first few holes were so extremely rushed by his presence that we had a miserable time until we made the turn.
If you’re on the golf pass, Godspeed. Not worth the trouble the rangers insist on putting you...
