Loved the park, but it’s a little disconcerting to see so many children inside in the park running around half supervised and using all the brand new equipment as their personal playground when a BRAND NEW playground for CHILDREN is right there.
Not all dogs that come into the park are going to be kid friendly, they are DOG friendly, but not kid friendly which means every time a kid comes in people have to take their dogs out of what is supposed to be a safe play place for the dogs. Did I miss something where kids under 16 are allowed in the park semi unsupervised ? To me that’s just asking for trouble / being sued and having a dog put down for what could very avoidable.

Read moreHonestly a great Dog park, 10/10 would recommend. We went at around 1 o’clock on a Friday and no one was there. We got to explore both the large & small dog pins and they are both awesome. Big oak trees shade basically the whole small dog pin, and a portion of the large.(there are lots of covered benches & chairs for owner's too!) Very cute & fun decor and interactive play wear + water bowls and a water hose in the large dog pin. Everyone we met was very kind, and all the dogs played well together when they came. Great community & Great for dogs...

Unfortunately, lots of kids come from the kids park into the dog park to play with the dogs. Sometimes they’re on their own and sometimes their parents are with them but no matter what, they go up to the dogs and try to pet or play without getting owners permission. My dogs are very dog friendly but get extremely nervous around children. I’m worried for how it’s going to be once summer...
