You get your boat , put gas, get food, get ice , get drinks,get float. get the family and go there 9:30-10 am trying to enjoy with the family after many functions to make the perfect day with the family . The park employees already have closed the gate and don’t let anyone getting in . Theres plenty of parking available and they don’t let in saying park is full and be open again at 2 pm. That’s a lie, Also the lady working there is very rude. Even if someone is already going home with the boat , they don’t let it in. Public is public!!! Read moreWonderful park for families and outdoor fun! R.D. Keene Park is a great place to spend the afternoon with kids. There’s a large grassy field that's perfect for soccer or just running around. The park also has a boat ramp that gives you direct access to Lake Butler, which is great if you enjoy boating or spending time on the water. You'll find picnic tables and shaded areas that make it easy to relax or enjoy a snack. It's also an ideal spot for hosting an outdoor birthday party — plenty of open space, beautiful surroundings, and lots of room for kids to play.

The slides were also cleaned and given a clear coat. There are two playground structures for age 2-5 and 5-12. There are infant swings, a toddler swing, standard swings, a tire swing and two bench swings. The entire playground has a sun sail cover to provide shade with the exception of the swings.
