This playground was closed in April 2023 for rebuilding and reopened November 2023. The biggest upgrade to this playground has been the addition of a safety perimeter fence. This was much needed given the close proximity to Apopka Vineland road and to keep children safe from wondering or running towards the direction of traffic. We specifically have avoided this park in the past because of safety considerations. The swing set is not part of the fenced enclosure. The fence enclosure itself has two gated openings and 5 park benches. The playground is ADA compliant with ramp accessibility. It also features sun sail shade coverage and “bonded rubber stone” foundation for injury impact prevention. There is lots of touch, sight and sound sensory engagement. Plenty of space for running and jumping, climbing and hanging. The ground level merry-go-round with a bench is a nice unique addition that allows accessibility. There are 5 slides. There is a little picnic table under the platforms with 4 cup/water bottle holders. So much to explore, discover and have a great time here! There is no restroom. There is a lone water fountain just beyond the swing set.

This park is okay! The play structure is shaded and toddler friendly. Children under 4 years old would definitely love it. There are multiple connecting sidewalks great for strolling and a drinking water fountain. Seating isn’t a problem as there are multiple benches and picnic tables. The only draw backs are no restrooms and 2 main roads border this park. You can expect traffic noise. Also, there are no gates or barriers in place to prevent a child from running into the road(keep eyes on your little ones).

Watch out for this lady she says owns a work out business, she threw a yoga ball at my son on his head and when i went to give it back thinking it was an accident she was ready to fight me, she called the cops telling them i tryed stealing there ball. The cops and ambulance came to check my son head. I'm going to press charges on her. WATCH OUT SHE is dangerous she goes there from 5:30 pm to 6pm. not a safe place for kids

There is nothing bad to say about this park. It's a great place for all families. It's set up perfectly for walking for exercise or running. There is always someone at the park, either lounging, exercising, sports practice, or children with parents at the playground. They have soft outdoor padding at the playground for the kids. Water fountains for drinking. However, they do not have restrooms. This park is dog friendly, but no doggie bag dispensers or disposal (please pickup after your pets). They also have benches throughout the area and a few gazebos. Parking is good. However, they have trashbins in the area. The hours are sun...

Park has no restrooms and no shade or covering in kids playground seating area, all benches are in the hot sun and rain, and theres not enough sitting for parents to monitor kids while they play, despite the park being quite big, there is only 1 playground area, and its always crowded, and it is too close to the swings, toddlers often run by and get smacked by other kids on swings. Rose Park could use a couple of extra playground areas. Dog poop is abundant all over, idiots walk their dogs and leave their pets poop for...
