Love, love, love this beach!! †Very quiet, peaceful Beach. Not a tourist spot as it is far enough away from anything that would attract tourists. A family trip just looks like an old fashioned Beach that you remember from your childhood. You see the occasional fisherman, or just the person who likes to relax in their chair and read a book listening to the ocean's waves crashing on shore. There is a lifeguard on duty in case you decide to dip your toes into the water. The beach is lined with private residences far enough back that you don't even notice them too much behind the natural vegetation. Again, this is not a tourist location. You would need to bring all of your own supplies as there is nothing around this area for food...

Itâs not really by anything and I think thatâs why it wasnât crazy busy even on a weekend. It was free to enter. There was a little playground that my kids enjoyed playing on until I made them walk the beach, which was gorgeous and clean. (Edited to add: Theyâve since removed the playground.) There are wash stations, lifeguards, little covered picnic tables, and clean restrooms. Thereâs history here, too, which is great if you like to learn or have kids.
