This was a perfect board walk with a lot of information posted about the local wild life and vegetation. It appeared well maintained. We also loved the bike rack located at the south most entrance. And we loved the water source that was available for filling up water bottles, allowing your pet to have access to a water bowl that filled and drained on its own AND a place to rinse off if needed. We happened to see an alligator on this trip while using the long pier that was dedicated to a young man taken too early. That pier was in need of repair at the time of our visit, Sept 2023.

Beautiful stretch of beach, not busy at all. A little hard to get to as it's about 1 hour from Panama city and almost 2 from Tallahassee. But the views are fantastic. One of very few places you can still drive on the beach. To a horse riding trip today and it was fantastic. Just make sure you bring whatever you think you may need, there are only a few little shops nearby and I wouldn't expect much.

Love the new boardwalk. Has info boards along the way about local plants, trees, fish & such. Well kept pickleball court, grills, screened pavilions with picnic tables & grills, restrooms on both sides, volleyball court with balls provided, access to the bike trail along the hwy, small playground & several boardwalks as well as beach driving access point. Well maintained park.

Nice place to start and end a bike ride. Lots of parking with clean restrooms and changerooms. Approx 8 mile bike ride to the tip of the peninsula which ends at a state park. Lots of places to stop and swim and cool off (if you want to) or rest. Salinas Park has pickle ball courts and a lookout pier on the bay side. The gulf side has a big beach . The water seems a bit murky though. I hear it's because of a river flowing nearby. The whole region is...

Always very nice and clean, with plenty of parking. There is a pier to walk out on and see the wetlands. There's a large playground with sand as the ground and plenty of structures to climb and play on. The bathrooms: single female bathroom, single male bathroom, and an outdoor shower. There's also multiple covered and screened in picnic tables with an overhead fan and lights, along with a large garbage can, outlets and an outdoor...
