Simmers-Young Park — Attraction in Florida

Google Gps won't take you to the parking lot. You have to keep going to the end of the road and turn right before the gates at the end. Lots of room, nice they have a small dog and a large dog area to prevent any squishing of the smaller four legged friends. There is mud/sand around the water fountain from bowls being tipped over and tbh the water fountain is a little rough. But I spent over an hour there with my two dogs and they got to meet 3 over nice pups to play with. Could use a little spurcing up but I will most definitely be coming back...

I enjoyed the park my dog enjoyed the park my only criticism would be the maintenance of a park there are many many many large ant piles in the dog park as well as many piles of cut grass that wasn't picked up by the lawn mower or the maintenance crew just piles of dead grass sitting on top of freshly cut grass which isn't a lot of fun to clean out of your dog's hair other than that it's a lovely park it's got a lot of lighting when it gets dark plenty of parking I will definitely return to this park hopefully there won't be so many ant...

Nice place to take the kids when the other parks are packed to the gills because of the lakes. Very much open but find it alarming the fact that the general public utilizes their facilities and leaves a mess there when leaving. There was a family birthday party that looked like a disaster zone in the pavillion when they left. Teach your kids the right thing from the start and we wouldn't have so many broken...
