Beautiful weather. Sadly, the tide was way out so the view from the pier was not as nice as usual. My family took a lovely hike they enjoyed while I sat and enjoyed the weather. Definitely recommend checking this place with active people. This isn't a playground so it's a beautiful chance to see and explore with your kids. My only request would be to please, don't throw your trash on the ground. If you can't find a garbage can, hold on to it and throw it out later. We used to LOVE this place, we’ve been taking our beagle puppy for almost 6 months. We absolutely loved the trail leading to the water, Luna loves swimming! A few weeks ago we took her back and were walking the trails when we were attacked by a swarm of bees I got stung at least 3 times and my poor puppy was stung over 10-15 times! We had to sit there and pluck stingers out of her skin. Those stings continued to turn in to blisters and eventually scabbed over, now over a month later she still has these bumps all over her! I don’t recommend taking your pup here during the summer :/ when it’s cooler out we...

For example, we saw a sign for bird observing point but we could not achieve. The only guidance you have is the trial route arrows at the turns. The trial we walked was nice but it was too close to the road so it was disturbing the ambiance a bit. Also we did not see too much people hiking so it felt a bit isolated and alone. However, to overall, it is a good spot to be in the nature except the road noise.

Free entrance with or...
