Starkey Ranch District Park — Attraction in Florida

When you enter from Starkey ranch main entrance you need to go around the roundabout and go left from there you can see the entrance to the park area. We wanted to check out the new baseball fields they are building within Starkey ranch. Starkey Ranch District Park is one of my favorite places to visit when I want to enjoy the outdoors and unwind. The park is beautifully maintained, with wide open spaces, walking trails, and plenty of room for families, athletes, or anyone just looking to get outside. I really appreciate how clean everything is, from the sports fields to the restrooms. There are multiple fields for soccer and baseball, great playground areas for the kids, and even shaded spots for relaxing. I attempted to use the soccer field when a male employee approached me in an aggressive manner. He wasn’t friendly and told me that I couldn’t use the field, even though it was completely empty. I was there with a friend and his dad, simply doing some training. He firmly insisted that I couldn’t use the public park for certain activities. If it’s a public park, why aren’t we allowed to train there or use it for sports activities? My understanding now is that even though is a public park the public can not use it for sports purposes. If the park is empty it can not be used by anyone....
