I don't even know where to start. AMAZING!!! The only bad thing was when we had to leave ( we didn't want to). Everyone was extremely professional and did above and beyond to make sure experience was one to 7 they did just that. My daughter and I did horseback riding at 9 a.m., and i did ziplining at 1:30. It was both our first time and was extremely nervous. To sum it up, we know how to ride horses yallll 😆 🤣. Our horses name was Reno and Teddy, and they were amazing. Our guides were even more amazing. We had Megan and Aubrey, which did phenomenal, making sure we were safe the entire time. They took pictures which we were able to purchase at the end, which was a plus everyone loves pictures! We will be back again for sure. Now that was about the horse back Riding. Let me tell you about ziplining! BABYYYYY, it was EVERYTHING and more. So I am scared of heights, but I keep pushing myself, and I really thought walking in that I was pushing myself a bit too much and that this was going to be my breaking point, but nope Andie and Nate proved me wrong. They were absolutely amazing, and honestly, I wouldn't have been able to do it without them. I was so impressed how they called every one of us in the group by name. They took safety to a whole other level they checked everything every minute, and I mean everything, including my nerves, lol. I will be back, and I hope to see them there. I will actually request them next time. Pictures were taken also, and as I said, everyone loves pictures. We also got certificates, which was a nice touch. I can go on and on to talk about how amazing our day was, but u just have to try it for yourself. Bring cash for tip they don't ask, but I think tipping the person who was responsible for keeping your heart beating is not such a bad idea. Can't wait to see you guys again!

‼️UNSANITARY EQUIPMENT‼️: I'll talk about my experience after I get this point out. We went Ziplining yesterday, Best of the Best. I essentially paid $350+ for 3 people + photos to now have to worry about a potential hospital bill and permanent scaring to my face. I don't know what the heck type of bacteria I got eating up my chin that I'm praying doesn't get worse crossing clear across where the helmet strap sat on. It hurts and currently burns really bad. This is a public health issue for patrons and needs to be addressed. The gloves are no better and would waiger are even worse in cleanliness. PLEASE BEWARE of this! As a business, you will need to overhaul the cleaning process. At this point from this alone, I want my money back because now I have to go pay to be seen, treated, and miss work! MY EXPERIENCE: Booking was straight forward and easy. I called ahead of time to ask questions, the lady who gave me information was knowledgeable in her recommendations, pleasant to talk to and no complaints on my end. Got in, plenty of parking, checked in, signed waivers, waited outside until it was time. Careful there are ants everywhere, but that's just how nature works. They helped you strap in. Took us to a quick learning lesson - practice 1 time on a short line and got into it the real ones. Our guides were good, I can't remember their names it was a pair. The man guide led the guide, he knew his stuff, liked his jokes and reassured you. The girl guide took care of the backend telling you when to go. She wasn't very talkative did her thing and honestly I could respect that. Everyone seemed to fit within their role and I don't expect people to always be on hype mode as long as they're not rude. The lines, sites, hike and scappling down were good experience for me personally, and I would get the thrill of the rush. In all honesty this would have been a 5 star review had I not experienced what I'm currently experiencing. I had intended to come back and do it again but now I'm to scared to. They have horseback riding and canoeing available as well and the mining thing sifting through sediments. Overall my experience was good, but my face breaking out and being in physical pain now is not, once I figure out how to treat this I will see how to proceed regarding this matter. Use this information at your own discretion. I would not say to not go, just know what risk you're signing up for.

Great place to bring your family, friends, or a date for a fun and adventurous day! I and a group of friends did the 9 zipline adventure. It took about 3 hours to ride through the beautiful wooded area, where we flew over the man-made cliffs in Ocala. The guides were super fun and friendly. They gave us a brief history lesson about the area and how it became the way it is. The park had a small store with snacks and drinks for purchase. Restrooms are located within the store area, where you can also purchase your pictures taken during your adventurous day. They allow Go-Pro cameras as long as you can provide yourself with harnesses for it to go on your helmet or wear it on your chest. You will need your hands during your adventure to be able to stop yourself when approaching the end of the zipline, also you don't want to lose your equipment in the water or the woods so being hands-free is probably the best way to be. They have other activities like horseback riding and ATVs. I believe we were told that they do some night activities. Check out their website for details!

My retired parents live in Ocala and I grew up in Orlando. I'm now in Seattle, and visit often but have never seen a place like The Canyons Zip Line anywhere and I have definitely not seen any place like this in Florida! My father (who is in his mid-70's) and I went on the horseback ride/tour. This was so much fun! We had two guides who were awesome. Megan, our guide up front, and Morgan, who brought up the rear and our photographer, shared a lot of history of the area - even pointing out old tracks that the miners used while mining limestone. Megan filled us in on local wildlife and taught us a thing or two about horses as well. I wish I had more time to talk with Morgan about her rodeo days! She took over 70 awesome pictures! I'll admit that I was nervous being on a horse - but I got to ride a gentle one named Travis and my father was on Toby - who was equally as gentle. Needless to say, we had no problems to speak of. I plan on bring in the whole family in the Spring when we visit Ocala again - this time to do some zip lines! Thank you so much M & M!

We visited this place as a family in May of this year. I cannot recommend this enough. If you live in the Central Florida area, this is some of the most beautiful scenery that I have seen. It was a former rock quarry that when they dug too deep filled up with water. The elevation changes are very unique for the central Florida area. The water is a beautiful blue green. Due to the amount of minerals in the area. You can easily spend a couple of hours on a tour or a do a shorter one for maybe 45 minutes. The staff was incredibly friendly and they had a great safety training for the family. Definitely okay for younger kids. They have a weight limit of 280 lb so keep that in mind. My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what I expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special whether it was service, food, staff, etc., and a 5 means I was blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing with no offer to correct the experience and a 1-star rating was terrible
