A very rude and unprofessional Latina “Manager” who wears a red polo shirt and worked on Friday 6/7/2024 at 12:30 pm- 7:00pm was very unprofessional when called upon by a sales clerk at the Nature’s Table. The customer had previously been asking to upgrade his smaller soup to a large soup and had been receiving an upgrade charge without issues for the prior 3 weeks when ordering.
On 6/7/2024 a very RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL Latina “Manager” was called over by the Natures Table Staff on duty to verify the same up charge the customer had been receiving, made it a point to get very publicly rude with the customer stating in very unreasonable terms that “they don’t up charge for combos” and that “he could say whatever he wanted to say” “but your not getting a large soup with this combo” although the return customer politely asked why he ‘couldn’t pay more for the combo like he had been doing for weeks ?’
The Nature’s Table staff of like ethnicity refused to intervene and allowed the customer to be treated very disrespectfully, driving the customer away. My family and I refuse to spend our money at an establishment who doesn’t appreciate polite paying customers who work hard for their money.
The Middle Aged Latina manager is obviously unfit for her position as “manager”, has no visible customer service training and should not be allowed to disrespect paying customers openly as was witnessed by myself and my family standing by.
The customer never raised his tone of voice or disrespected the “manager” in the slightest bit. Nature’s Table not only lost that customer’s business, I’m sure..They also lost mine.
There needs to be some sort of accountability for untrained and unprofessional “management” whose position of so-called authority has gone to their heads and obviously gone unchecked for quite some time.
This is completely unacceptable behavior and I personally am ashamed for Nature’s Tables/ Turkey Lake Service Plaza’s management’s conduct.
I will be following up with the Orlando Chamber of Commerce as well as the BBB on behalf of that poor customer and the unchecked, unprofessional, rude and uncalled for actions of this Middle Aged “Manager”. Do Better TLSP. This...

I recently made a pit stop at one of the service plazas on my travels, and I have to say, it was a surprisingly positive experience! Often, service plazas can be hit or miss, but this one really stood out for several reasons.
First off, the cleanliness of the plaza was impressive. The restrooms were well-maintained and stocked, which is always a relief during road trips. A clean environment can make all the difference when you're on the go!
The variety of dining options was also a pleasant surprise. From familiar fast-food chains to some healthy grab-and-go options, there was something for everyone. I opted for a fresh salad, and it was delicious and satisfying — definitely not the typical greasy fare you might expect at a service stop!
I also appreciated the helpful staff. From the friendly cashier who greeted me with a smile to the maintenance crew keeping everything tidy, it felt like a well-run operation. It's refreshing to see employees who take pride in their work and genuinely care about providing a good experience for travelers.
Lastly, the seating area was spacious and comfortable, making it easy to relax and recharge before hitting the road again. Plus, the free Wi-Fi was a nice bonus!
Overall, my experience at the service plaza was remarkably positive. It’s a reminder that even the simplest stops can be enjoyable when they're clean, well-staffed, and offer a good variety of options. I’ll definitely keep this one in mind for my future...
Read moreI have came by this Plaza for years. I always appreciate how clean their bathrooms are and how well kept this service plaza can be. For years they had a Dunkin' Donuts here and I loved that. I could get a coffee and a sausage egg and cheese croissant or some other item that was not just a pastry. Now they have put a Starbucks here and it's practically useless. They only have pastry options at this time of night and the pastries that they offer are very limited. The people who work in the Starbucks location are not personable like they are in the regular Starbucks stores. I have a Starbucks gold card and have been a member for years; therefore, I can easily recognize that this location is sadly lacking. I am also a low-carb eater and I usually get egg white bites. It's 10:00 at night and the only thing that's available at this location is a sad array of pastries.
I really wish they'd bring the Dunkin' Donuts back. It was more serviceable and had way more options. When you're traveling along the roadway at 10:00 at night you don't want to have to choose things out of the vending machines ...and that's exactly what I'm doing tonight. I am not the only one doing that, there are three people in front of me at one of the vending machines by the restrooms and there are two people at the other vending machine by the door. The Starbucks staff member is standing there looking at everything around them, doing nothing, because nobody wants their...
