Went to the Manatee Festival this year and the kids had a blast! They loved getting their faces painted and even got to pet an alligator. There was an amazing array of food and merchandise vendors, live music, and and you could even bring your dogs for an additional fee. Valentine Park was designed with youth sports in mind and has 2 lighted tennis courts, a lighted basketball court, lighted minor and major sized baseball fields, full sized football/soccer field, sand volleyball pit, t-ball field, and a lighted girl's softball field. There is also a playground and a picnic area with...

I love Valentine Park, but $75 for pavilion-1 seems a little steep to me... Especially considering some of the facilities are in disrepair. The bathrooms near pavilion 1 we're bad. One bathroom door was locked with an out of order sign on it. The other bathroom had a clogged toilet and was completely disgusting... There's trash scattered all around the park. I understand that people litter and it's hard to keep up with it. But considering how much money is made at this park through rentals of the space it seems like it should be kept up a little better. But like I said, that's...

Nice large park for kids to play or forget-togethers and picnics. There are several areas for bags for your pooch when you walk in and in the back there are trails. It is a park requirement that the dog stay on lead. is a children's park as well as tennis courts and a basketball court. There is an organized sport team area with two softball / baseball areas.

Tried a new park out today for my two year old. This park is covered in trash. For how many workers I saw driving around the park in their work trucks, you think they could at least pick up the 500 pieces of trash covering the childrens playground. Just sad!
