West Perrine Park — Attraction in Florida

There are ALOT of odd rules and regulations at this water park that go beyond the basic "no running no eating". Lifeguards/staff are young and overtrained like paranoid helicopter parents. They follow you around all over the water park critiquing your every move. We got spoken to 12 times in the 20 minutes we were there about the silliest things such as "parents are not allowed to wait at the bottom of the slide for their young children", "no rash guards allowed" or "you cannot help your child up the steps because you are taking up room for the other kids."

What is the purpose of a $5.9 million dollar water park if children are not allowed to have...

Awesome park! My kids had a great time. Small slide/kids pool area was closed due maintenance :/ but the main pool and the big slide was open and you MUST be 48” tall to ride that bigger slide, no exceptions. Hours are NOT correct on Google here. Waterpark/pool is open 1-5pm. The slides open/close every 30 minutes (don’t ask lol) and the slides close at 5 pm for swim lessons which are apparently very good👍🏼 overall, very nice, clean, friendly environment! Will def come back esp once the little kids area is fixed!...

I understand if they don’t let kids less than 2 years old to get in the pool but not letting them being with a parent sitting on a chair is ridiculous. As a parent of 3 kids I feel discriminated. Not being able to take my kids to the pool because they don’t allow my 1 year old to be there in the stroller with me. Also the staff was rude.
