This trail according to google maps stretches a little over 45 miles long. In this visit I only did about 28 miles of it. It is paved trail that is very scenic. Weaving between houses and businesses and some good wooded areas. Mother nature is on full display here. I was passing Armadillos, Deer, Squirrels and Racoons. Read moreGreat spot and idea for a trail across the state. Clean area, with new construction just down the way and an underpass recently built under route 41 to access the Dunellon trail head area. Bathrooms, a pavilion and parking are here, too. It can get a little busy on weekends or during events, but many park in the grass areas and nobody seems to mind. It's mainly used for bike riding since it's paved, but occasionally you'll see some walkers.
