I took the trail down to the river. It was a nice slope on the way down and a little bit of a workout on the way up. There were plw ty of benches along the way if you need a rest. It would be a great trail for jogging. As far as safety, there was a few other hikers using the trail and an emergency call button towards the end of the trail. However, I'm not sure I would go on this trail toward the evening because of the graffiti and secluded nature of the area. Read moreAlways so beautiful and peaceful, the trails are nice to walk on, but make sure you wear tennis shoes, or shoes with ankle support, as there are some steep hills and uneven paths! Great place to just enjoy the sounds of nature and watch the river flow. Wear long socks and/or pants that cover ankles if you plan on going into the grass, as there is some poison ivy (remember; leaves of 3, let it be!) in some of the grassy areas, but you should be perfectly safe if you stay...
