Very nice clean place with lots of wildlife to view especially on the adjacent river trail.Numerous duck species, and numerous other bird species including hawks, eagles, herons and more are present. Other animals including deer, ground hogs, turtles, garter snakes, rabbits, and muskrats just to name a few can be seen, and on days when the river level is low you can see numerous species of fish as well. There are four nice pavillions with bbq and clean porta potties, very nice paved walking trails and some through the tree line, and an awesome river view with canoe/kayak accesibility and fishing along the river trail on the opposite side of the park. Theres also an open area for kite flying, a baseball field, basketball court, stretching and strengthening equipment, kids swing/slide play area, tennis court and a fenced in dog play area with pavillion. Great place to take a jog or walk, to roller blade or bike through, have a picnic, or just to take the kids out of the house for the day to enjoy...
Read moreWent here for the 1st time to take my dogs to the dog park. The entire park itself is beautiful & has everything you'd want in a park. The dog park blew me away though! It is gigantic!! There is SO much room for the dogs to run & play it's amazing! There's a TON of shade because a portion of it is a wooded area. They have a drinking fountain that's for both humans & dogs. If you press the side button it fills up a dog dish that's attached to the fountain. We walked the entire large dog side & didn't see any dog feces so people are good at picking up after their dogs. The park even has bags available to use to clean it up. There is a large dog side & a small dog side. I couldn't be more pleased...

The only thing I didn't love was that the road that winds through the park is also the main walking path, so there were some vehicles driving alongside walkers, albeit slowly and carefully. However, apparently on Mondays the path is closed to all vehicles. I will most certainly be coming to this...
