I was born in 1972 and lived in a small house on my grandparents' property here with my parents and sister for several years. My mom had a horse ranch, they had some cattle, and her father was a medical Dr. who had a practice in Folsom until he passed on in the mid-1970s. My grandmother sold the property eventually and I was sad about that until I discovered that the developers/county saved the huge granite boulders we played on as kids and built this park around them! And The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints built a meeting house right were our old driveway and part of the house were. I bring my own child here to play since he was born in '98- what a delight! And we enjoy family picnics here now. Read moreI spent a beautiful afternoon today at Bud and Artie Davies Park. This place is a hidden gem. First and foremost, in the city of trees, the shade and natural beauty the trees bring really adds to the beauty and atmosphere.
Further, the park is clean and well maintained. It's clear that the staff takes great pride in maintaining the park's pristine condition.
There’s also a lot of amenities, from a soccer pitch and basketball courts, barbeque pits and covered picnic tables, and clean restrooms. The park's layout is well-planned and offers something for everyone.

Plenary of room to go walking around the park and neighborhood, field is big enough to play fetch with your dog or host a soccer match, contains 2 basketball courts with lights, contains 2 tennis courts with lights, and a playground for children.
