Great playground for elementary age kids. Nice,.big sand area across the pavement/parking lot. Picnic tables and pavilion on the school aged kid playground side. Nice, SHADES playground with large, established oak trees. Not very many pine trees. Including tree ID for allergy planning! Definitely more oak than line, poison ivy growing onsite but away from the playground area. Restroom facility attached to the pavilion next to the large playground. There is a toddler playground across the parking lot from the pavilion/big kid playground. This is also where the large sand pit is (former volleyball court?). When I first visited with my kids years ago, one was a toddler and the other a big kid. This proved a little stressful as traffic drove in and out and each kid wanted/needed the separate areas This park is also not easy to find via Google maps directions. Best for families without toddlers or multiple caregivers that can split between the toddler/sand area and the main playground. Nice view Good shade UPDATE POST HELENE- This park is in one of the worst hit counties, please check county park social media and updates. As of mid October they are still cleaning up some parks (downed trees etc.) play safe! :)

My kids loved this park! It was clean and tidy. Even the bathrooms! There is a sandbox, a small playground for the toddles and a larger playground for the school age kids, plus some picnic area to sit and take a break. There aren't any water fountain here, so be sure to bring your own beverage. I didn't visit the vending machines down by the baseball field, so idk if they work. If I'm being picky, the swings could use some wd40. The little ones didn't seem to care, so it wasn't a big deal. We went around lunch time and we had the place to ourselves. Lolz

Been going here all my life. Now I take my kids here, and it's been re-done. We had fun. Especially when it started to get dark and everybody left, I even went down the slide with them. (May have been a bad idea to let my son sit on my lap because the slide is curvy, and my shoe got caught and to keep from hurting my son, I had to let my foot twist sideways til we got off. I think it's sprained lol) But we had fun playing pretend🫠

This park is the closest one to our home and it used to be great but it’s becoming extremely hit or miss in the cleanliness department. The maintenance crew does a great job when they are there but, it’s the people who don’t clean up after themselves that’s the issue. There’s always leftover drinks, trash, used masks etc littered around. Last time we were there, we saw a used condom in the parking lot so make of that what you will. It’s gotten to the point where I drive around and make sure it’s not too bad before we get...
