Apolloni Vineyards — Attraction in Forest Grove

My spouse and I have been a member of Apolloni Vineyards since summer of 2020, and boy, have we really made use of our membership.

35 minutes from downtown Portland, Apolloni is a great place to take out-of-town guests. They have two bocce courts, snacks to go with the wine tastings, and super friendly staff. Lots of outdoor seating, including with heating. You can bring your own snacks, too, which makes for a cute picnic afternoon.

As for the wine... they have a great array of reds and whites that really highlight a variety of notes. They also sell my favorite bubbly rose on the market. I always end up buying extra, because they make a much-loved gift!

Great wines, wonderful service! Our friends are members here and invited us to their pickup party/Easter egg hunt. With two toddlers in tow, you never know how wine tasting will go, but the Italian family hospitality never fails! In fact there were many families with younger children. The wine was wonderful and we enjoyed the range of varietals! Their charcuterie board is it of this world, so yummy! Spencer, our server, was very knowledge and polite. We love to hear about the winemaking process behind each wine. Often with children present, servers respectfully hurry their presentation, effectively skipping the winemaking portion. Apolloni is simply spectacular. I hosted an alumni event here for the OSU College of Business with roughly 60 attendees and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. From a planning perspective, the communication from Spencer, the tasting room manager, was easy and consistent from the very beginning. He truly went above and beyond in recommending food options (we LOVED the Ash Pizza food truck) and curating wines to serve at the event. He even offered our guests a tour of their onsite wine cave!
