Amazing little farm and creamery.
I purchased their goat milk working hands balm, lip balm, soap, and shampoo bar, and each one has exceeded my expectations. The hand balm is incredibly nourishing and deeply moisturizing without being greasy. It has a light, natural scent and leaves my hands feeling soft and protected.
The goat milk soap is another standout—gently cleansing with a rich lather that feels luxurious on the skin. It’s perfect for sensitive skin like mine and my son who has eczema.
And the shampoo bar, what a surprise! It lathers beautifully, rinses clean, and leaves my hair soft, shiny, and healthy-looking without the buildup I’ve experienced from other bars. Plus, it’s eco-friendly and lasts a long time!
You can tell that everything is made with care and high-quality ingredients. I love supporting a local farm that prioritizes sustainability, animal care, and handcrafted goodness. If you’re considering trying their products, don’t hesitate! You’ll fall in love...
Read moreWe three older adults, including a cheese aficiondo from Japan, visited on a sunny late July day for a "Goat Walk & Farm Tours with Picnic lunch". The experience exceeded expectations. Both of the women in our group enjoyed the experience immensely, as did I.
Authenticly rustic with outstanding cheeses and gelato, the close-to-nature visit was a unique chance to experience not only goats, but also pigs, chickens, geese, ducks, and sheep. As we walked with Lise and Hans (the goat) through pastures and forest to a small clearing for the picnic, Lise provided much interesting information on goats, cheese-making, and more.
Temperatures were in the low 80s when we visited, and we encountered few insects. Note that the ground is uneven and the path passes by some brambles, so rugged shoes and long pants are advised.
The goat cheese camambert was a special treat, and we purchased some along with a soap sampler at the farmstand...
Read moreWe went on a "goat picnic" today at Fraga Farms. It's a nice little walking tour alongside a goat and an outdoor picnic of their cheeses, jam, truffles, caramels, and coffee. They also served us German pretzels from a local bakery. Everything was delicious! The picnic is in a quiet, secluded area of the farm where we sat on a blanket and a hammock was hung for us. My kiddo got to bottlefeed a baby goat, pet and feed goats, feed pigs, see baby geese, feed pigs, and check out lots of farm equipment. They have very friendly cats and dogs as well. It was a toddler dream come true. The owner and guide, Lies, was informative and accomodating for our group. I highly recommend it! Be sure to dress appropriately for a farm.
Enjoyed a visit to the farm stand a year later. The farm has been updated and is looking good. Visitors to the farm stand can enjoy gelato and various cheeses. Just stick close...
