Nestled in the lush, rolling hills of Oregon's famed Willamette Valley, Willamette Valley Vineyards' Tualatin Estate is a destination that transcends the ordinary wine-tasting experience. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by an atmosphere of warmth and sophistication, a testament to the vineyard's commitment to excellence in both wine and hospitality.

The wines here are nothing short of extraordinary. The Pinot Blanc is a revelation-crisp, vibrant, and brimming with notes of green apple and citrus, it's a white wine that dances on the palate with elegance and balance. For red wine enthusiasts, the Cabernet Sauvignon is a bold, structured masterpiece, offering layers of dark cherry, black currant, and a hint of spice that lingers beautifully. And, of course, the Pinot Noir-a varietal that has put Oregon on the global wine map-is a standout. This particular bottling is a symphony of red berries, earth, and silky tannins, showcasing the vineyard's mastery of this finicky grape.

But what truly sets Willamette Valley Vineyards apart is its people. The hosts, Madelynn and Rachel, are the heart and soul of the experience. Their passion for wine is infectious, and their knowledge is as deep as the roots of the vines themselves. They guide you through each tasting with a genuine enthusiasm, sharing stories of the vineyard's history and the artistry behind each bottle. Their warmth and friendliness make you feel not just like a guest, but like part of the Willamette Valley family.

Whether you're a seasoned oenophile or a casual wine lover, a visit to Willamette Valley Vineyards - Tualatin Estate is an absolute must. The combination of world-class wines, breathtaking scenery, and exceptional hospitality creates an experience that is as memorable as it is delightful. This is Oregon wine country at its finest—a place where every sip tells a story, and every visit leaves you...

The wine is really good and the view is amazing. We loved the place so much as we became club members, we would make our appearance every couple of months.

David, the manager, was a always nice and easy going person. Every time we went we had some great conversations while sampling wine. We were so happy and comfortable.

One day we brought our friends (two girls) who were visiting from MI. David was great, he gave us a tour on golf cars through the vineyard making stops explaining the vines growing process. After the tour we sat down and started sampling wine. So far It was amazing, we were making such a good impression by bringing our friends to this beautiful Oregon Winery. After a while when David went to the restroom, one of my friends just said, we got to go!!! I was confused. David, the manager, had grabbed my friend's inner thigh under the table while the conversation. It was so shocking to see how unprofessional how this clown went and how it just ruined my friend's whole visit and our membership to this place. This guy has a wife and children but he is a creep!!! We immediately cancelled our membership and emailed management at the big vineyard down in Salem but who knows if the made the respective actions.

Be...

I enjoy going wine tasting and this review is based on my second visit to the vineyard. We tasted a flight of reds (three Pinots, a Malbec, and a Cabernet Franc). Two of the Pinots and the Malbec were excellent.

What wasn't excellent, however, was the service. There were three servers and two were completely incompetent. The third, who seemed to be the tasting room manager, was so loud you could hear her even when we were outside. Generally, when you go wine tasting, the tasting room staff tell you about the winery, the wines, and where the grapes were grown. We got none of this information. Additionally, the service was awful even though there were three servers for 10-15 people in the tasting room. We had to wait long periods to get our pours, and on the fourth pour I got less than half an inch because it was the end of the bottle. When I inquired about the size of the pour, I got a very dirty look.

As I mentioned earlier, I have been to this winery before. On my previous visit I had good service. The winery is in a beautiful setting and the wines are above average for the...

We like to support vineyards and wineries like Willamette Valley Vineyards that are committed to sustainable practices. We were able to find a bottle of Whole Cluster Pinot Noir at our local Total Wine store at a good price. Taste is an individual thing, and the wine gets high marks for being sustainable, gentle, and very smooth. This wine, however, is not very fruity or flavorful and just tastes bland. In comparison, we really prefer the Luca Malbec Old Vine (Mendoza, Argentine) and the Seghesio Zinfandel (Healdsburg) which is Wine Spectator’s world wine value of the year for 2024.
