The weather was great, wines delish and setting adorable at this local Vineyard. However, unfortunately I can only give three stars because I did feel mislead by their advertisement of "tastings". They ask that reservations be made for these tastings, so we made reservations for a tasting with the plans to buy bottles after that to enjoy However, tastings don't exist. We were told that they are "self-guided" tastings, and given a menu from which we picked wines to try in a flight, with a fee. So they are calling $15 flights, tastings. I don't mind if flights is what they want to offer... but just don't advertise these as a tasting when this isn't the same as a flight. Other then that, we really...

I hosted my best friend’s birthday gathering there. The owners were so kind to reserve us a room which was cozy with its own fireplace. We opened three different bottles - white, rose and red - we loved all of them. Two of our friends are not wine drinkers and ended up buying a bottle because of how good they are! One of the girls bought four bottles! We walked away with our arms full of wine bottles. It is hands down one of the best wineries I’ve been to. I consider myself a wine snob and I 100% recommend this place. The owners are also so sweet and made us all feel so welcome. I will definitely be visiting this...

Burnbrae Vineyards is run by some of the sweetest folks you’ll ever meet. They are a kind, hardworking family with amazing wines to offer! My fiancé and I stopped by on a Sunday morning for a tasting, and I loved each wine more than the last. The tasting room is set off just above their vineyard, with a cozy cabin complete with a working antique kitchen! Although we didn’t leave with a bottle this last time, we will surely be stopping in very soon to make a large purchase! We appreciated the care and history of the place, and we truly...

My husband and I had a great time here today. The grounds were nicely manicured and there was plenty of shaded, outdoor seating. The owners were personable and took the time to talk with us about the wine list and gave a us a brief history of their winery. We each had a flight with the Traminette, Cottontown Road, Rosé Demi-Sec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chambourcin being among our favorites. We’ll definitely be going back! 🍷

This is a lovely location and we really enjoyed the wines. The self-guided flights is a brilliant idea. The owners are very friendly and engaging. All the wines we tasted were well balanced and matched the description. If you are looking for a really dry red the Syrah is a good choice. The Cottontown Road white blend was unique and very drinkable.

Great find of some great wine! Decided to explore VA wineries and this was a hidden gem! Walked away with some excellent Thanksgiving Day wine - bonus!
