I found parking on the east end of the trail, near the loop, at the North Boundary Trail parking. It does start at the “end” but you don’t have to pay the fee. I started the hike around 10:30AM and finished it at 1:30PM. I went from the falls to the bridge on the beach. It was chilly but the hike warms you up pretty quick. The only difficult parts are the section near the waterfall where it increases in elevation and the trail is so muddy at points your feet slip. Beautiful...
