By mid-afternoon the main trailhead can run out of parking, but this is an in-town area with actual maintained dirt trails (for middle aged knees between hikes 🙂) and a relatively unobstructed view of the foothills and sunsets...for at least a bit longer. Work is underway to extend paved trails over to Zeigler Rd south of Drake, and into the area of the projected community park between Horsetooth and Drake Rds.
