Been skating here since 04'. Thanks to Andy and Marcus @ The Market they were able to get this built. Being that it was one of the first plaza style skateparks in the country at the time, it's held up relatively well. Over the years we've been able to get the city to come out and fix and repair things that needed to be addressed. There's also a dedicated group of us that maintain the park in the summer and winter.
There's quite an active skate scene here and there's plenty of footage/pictures of people skating the park. A quick search on YouTube or social media and you'll be able to see that.
We are hopeful that in the near future, we can work with the city get more stuff added to the park to make it flow better (euro up the 7, a quarter or two, actual lights, etc.)

There's nothing here for anyone to learn unless you have a couple years under your belt already or throw your self at ledges without experience! You could try to learn to skate flat ground only here. But at that point, you might as well find an empty tennis court in the shade.
In my opinion, If this had 1 slappy bar, or even one small kicker/vert, this park would have a healthier skate scene. I stop by and see little to no people ever. That's a shame for such a nice park and area. Not sure if I share the same opinion with anyone but, it seems like a lot of money went into this and it doesn't see much use.
