The best way I can describe this place is very strange. Yes we got pumpkins and thatâs what we came for, so that was good.
Otherwise, the pumpkin patch tab on the website makes it sound like the tractor ride is free, which we were disappointed to find out that it was not. $3 for very short ride, so we didnât take it. Only problem is that if you want to walk out to the patch, the only way to get there is on a trail with 3-4 inches of straight Idaho flour consistency dirt. Not sure why you canât go around the other way.
There are so many weeds growing in the âgardensâ and âpumpkin patchâ that you wouldnât even know where to find either of them if someone werenât there to show you. Iâm talking really, really bad. Really bad. Itâs pretty gross actually. The place made me feel sad. It looks like someone just came out and threw seeds all over the property and then left them until the fall, hoping something good would happen. Who knows, maybe thatâs what they did? Theyâd get more money that way haha.
Overall, if you can find a different patch to go to in the area I would definitely recommend that. If you canât find anywhere else, then this will work. Just donât expect a happy and beautiful...
Read moreI came to this farm with my daughter and was not impressed. For a few bucks, it's not bad, but it seems like the owners threw up a table to take fare and a bunch of old toys bought from Goodwill and let that be the end of making their place attractive to the public. There are rusted pieces of old farm equipment everywhere, the chicken coop right outside the hay maze was so disgusting I felt bad for the chickens, and the entire place smelled like dog poop and moldy hay. The "playground" full of old plastic playhouses and toys strewn here and there was not appealing and I had a hard time letting my kid play on it. The kids' hay maze was cute but the owner started screaming at the kids when they climbed on the bales of hay... wish I was exaggerating, but she screamed at them all. The vibe to me can be described as follows: bare minimum bordering on hazard. The corn maze was decent and the pumpkin patch was nice and big, lots of pumpkins to choose from. Those were the two redeeming factors and they are not even close to being enough to entice me to return a second time. I'm honestly shocked that there are any five-star reviews. Maybe this farm does food well, but public attraction...
Read moreThis was a lot of fun! We really enjoyed the maze, it is huge! We ended up quitting halfway through because kids were getting tired. The maze would be fantastic for teenagers. The clues were so creative!
There were tons of pumpkins to choose from, and the play area was so fun for my kids age 1-7.
The owner was so kind and friendly. Very family oriented place.
We enjoyed our donuts and hot chocolate too. There was food for sale but we didn't get any, but did sample some delicious jelly.
My only complaint was that we went on the wagon ride, were offered to get off and look at pumpkins halfway around, then the driver of the tractor just took off with half of us standing there. Didn't ask us if we wanted to ride back (we did).
It wasn't a huge deal as we weren't that far from the main area, but it was annoying as we had an infant that needed to be carried and pumpkins to haul as well.
Maybe a miscommunication? Not sure. As soon as the other group riding with us got into the wagon he took off without a word. There were only about 10 of us total (2 groups of 5) in the wagon so it's not like he would have lost track of us.
Overall, it was a great experience and we will...
