Ft. Lupton is a hidden gem in Ft. Lupton, Colorado. It is run by volunteers and offers a wonderful historic trip back to the mid-1800's. Google "special event dates and visiting dates/times" because you just missed the Trapper Days Rendezvous. It had many authentic trapper vendors set up, a black powder muzzle rifle range, spinning wheel demonstrations, blacksmithing, blade sharpening, and wood carving.
