I love The Cambre House and Farm, and I would even if I wasn't a Cambre! I used to visit this house when I was growing up. My father knew much about its history, and while it couldn't stay in the Cambre family, the Fowler's purchasing it couldn't have been better. They really improved the property, and their granddaughter, Becca, is doing an amazing job at keeping its history known, offering classes and tours and wedding packages, etc. She is super sweet, knowledgeable, kind and a perfect host. The property is absolutely beautiful, full of rich history, and is a must-see place in my opinion. I would choose to visit it way more if I lived closer.    Read moreVery disappointed. Not an investigation at all. You pay $20 for a tour and listen to experiences that others have had in the house. One 10 minute investigation took place in the basement where the voice box was used but the guide used headphones to hear the answers to the questions being asked instead of letting the group hear or participate. There was no investigating on or own as indicated in the details of the event. Not what we were looking for in an investigation.

   Read moreVisited for a camping trip, the grounds were well taken care of even though there had been quite a bit of rain. the house itself was quite nice with the vintage original wood.
it has a nice bedroom on the main level with a half bath. and then upstairs it has an additional bedroom with a full bath. however my only complaint would be there is now shower only a tub.
