After driving all around the place back & forth from what discovered is the only tent spot with electricity with some shade discovered there was NONE, OK definitely 2 good spots with tree shade that should cover the 2nd spot and another camper parked on side of building as that was only other somewhat of a shade & then having what shade I could find which was when sun starting setting & after a Full blown panic/anxiety attack realizing it's next to a Cemetary, literally few feet right on other side of fence for a extra added feature. But after pulling myself together I set up camp & it actually turned out to be a Huge step for me 1st time camping alone & the Cemetary after taking a night run & walk thru, was the most absolutely beautiful, peaceful, magically(spiritually) ever. A Definite Must See, the Grand gates with the gorgeous angels holding trumpets & the monuments, brought tears to my eyes & went to sleep understand smiling. I will go back, if have shade or definitely not as hot. But to me was good for a one nighter

Very beautiful!!! Lots of spacious open areas for all sorts of activities!! They have a frisbee golf course, dog park, covered benched areas/shelters . Totally free to enter and enjoy!!! Great for hiking and paved walk ways for casual walks/bike rides!! Will be coming back!! There are several porta potties throughout the park area!

This park offers exceptional value with its diverse amenities. It boasts four playgrounds, over two miles of paths and trails, five shelter houses, and three disc golf courses. Catering to various camping preferences, it provides both primitive and electric sites. The park's versatility shines during the Tri-State Rodeo, accommodating over 700 camping permits for four days.

This multifaceted space has served various purposes, including as a practice soccer field. History buffs will appreciate its two historic landmarks. Nature enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the park's rich biodiversity, observing a wide array of flora and fauna. Wildlife sightings are common, from deer and turkeys to foxes, coyotes, and playful squirrels.

In essence, this park truly has it all, offering something for...

Had that unique smell like home and was wonderful to take my Costa Rican friends to see the Tri-State rodeo where Justin Moore was to perform. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to the rain, yet we still had an awesome time watching all the bull riders cowboys and cowgirls performing at their best. The rodeo clowns were hilarious. The park was wide open and clean plus there was a great crowd there to support the local economy. I will never forget my trip to Rodeo Park as it is forever engraved in my memory. Thanks...
