I live here and I love it but beware I the summer the mosquitoes will eat you alive! So make sure to bring bug spray or if your sensitive to sprays get some citronella candles. I love them, they are awsome in the evenings. Well have fun the lake is great. I've been coming here from Rome, GA since I was 5 years old to swim on the fourth of July. The fireworks is fabulous too. Happy...

Great spot for fishing. Known as the " Crappie capital" . The Coosa flows through and makes a lot of the lake.Boat launches and public fishing docks are readily available in Alabama. Do not try to GPS to Weiss Lake as it will put you in an RV camp. Use a specific site...
