Excellent exhibits with a wealth of information on archaeology, history of the area and the building of the dam. There are also live reptiles and fish on display. There were 3 films available in the theater which are played on demand. We took the powerhouse tour which took us into powerhouses 1 and 2. You can't go to the top but there's still plenty to see inside. Our guide recommended we drive down the road to the spillway and walk down some flights of stairs to see the gates up close. That was an interesting side quest. Wish we had more time to spend here, much better overall experience than Grand Coulee...

We arrived on a Monday to find the museum closed and not reopening till Saturday. Having to move on with our travels we won't be able to add this to our passport making our tour incomplete.
