Buck Sansom Park — Attraction in Fort Worth

Beautiful park that sadly, had very disgusting toilets (port-a-toilets). Walls had blood and feces on them. The park is a little dangerous!! Motorcycles, ATVs, minibikes, and pickup trucks were ridden or drove inside the park with impunity. I saw a couple times I saw some close misses. All with the two-wheelers and ATVs. The license plated vehicles, while bigger, moved much more cautiously and slowly. Still, unsafe and untolerated in most city parks. Beyond the possibility of getting run-over, the parks department is on their game! Beautifully maintained 👌♥️! Seems like most park patrons real love and respect the park because, there was little to NO(!!!!) trash anywhere! Okay, maybe... this is also a little the parks department but, mostly the patrons. My morning walks/workouts here are great! I tend to get bored easily but the "trails" (smooth concrete pathways) here offer lots of routes to choose from. Having a variety has kept my interest & I'm continuing to find new detours to "explore" a month in. It's very clean. The sidewalk is in great condition for bikes, rollerblades, scooters, strollers etc. I've seen turtles, fish, frogs, rabbits & lots of diff bird species. It's out in the open; none of those dark creepy corners or "no-go" spots either... You knowwww, the OBV haunted &/or serial killer murderin' spots? The sorta scene that'll have us hollering at the TV during a scary movie, "nuh-uh girl! Don't go down there!" 😆

The play ground needs to be monitored by the police a little. A lot of people use it after dark to do drugs and have relations. I have found empty drug baggies and dirty rubbers there. The park is on a one way road that everyone goes the wrong way on. I believe if there where more of a police presence in the area then these things would change.
