Read moreAbsolute scam and horrible service. I stopped by on a road trip, paid $15 to get in and immediately upon seeing the tiny opening in the tree and sign saying they won’t pay for damages, I said hell no. I went inside and said there is no way I’m going in that and before I could ask for a refund, an old man came out and got really upset a saying “you want a refund!?”. He and a woman looked at my Lexus and said that will definitely fit and they claimed multiple times that a Chevy Suburban can fit. I am not one to argue and just said I doubt it and I just want my money back. The man insulted me by saying I’m “too scared” and “too chicken to drive though” multiple times. I told him calmly but firmly that I just bought a new car and I’m not going to risk it. He tossed the cash on the counter and I got out of there.
For reference I drive a 2021 Lexus IS300. A regular sedan and there was no way I was getting through without scratching my paint or losing a mirror.
Based off of my experience and other reviews, this place needs to just go out of business already. Quit...
Read moreFor $10 at the entrance it was worth the experience to visit this particular Drive-Thru tree. There wasn't a whole lot in artifacts to look at but it is essentially located off of highway 101 going northbound making it easy to find. It is also along the way going through the avenue of the Giants. I get there and it's pretty much nestled against the rest of the trees in Northern California. The Drive-Thru tree itself was a little too narrow for my car and I was barely able to get through it even with my mirrors folded in. If your vehicle is wide do not attempt to go in there. I almost feared my car was going to be stuck in there but I dared to do it anyways only because I know my car. I didn't go into the gift shop to get a souvenir but it was okay with that because I had a different goal and I was going for the North but I have plenty of pictures and the experience itself in my memories. I didn't need much time to spend there but it was worth it. To some people it'll be different and might be able to spend more time than I did since I had another...
