The entrance road to SGL 187 is a bit rutted out and sometimes flooded, but once you get to the parking lot, there is a nice grassy trail that leads through a spruce and hardwoods forest, down along the Oley Creek. You can hear the traffic from i-80 nearby, but otherwise this is a very nice and secluded area for a hike or taking your dog for a walk.
