We chose these falls based on recommendations from friends and researching the ease of the hike (not that this is easy, but compared to some of the other longer, more intense trails it's not bad). We started at Bear Lake and walked around it (beautiful scenery all around), then moved on to this trail. There are some steep parts, but seeing the falls makes it so worth it! There are rocks to climb (be safe with your footwork!) and breathtaking views to see. We had two of our teenage kids with us and they were even impressed (and really liked climbing on the rocks). Otherwise you can park your car in the big parking lot area, take a shuttle bus from there to reach Baer Lake trailhead. It was a beautiful hike towards Alberta Falls. If you start early in the morning you will be able to spot few wildlife as well. The hike is worth. Once you reach the waterfall the view is just awesome. A must visit place if you are in the Rocky...
