Boulder Falls is inside Roosevelt Nat'l Forest and is about 16 min. from downtown Boulder and 6 min. from CU Boulder. This mighty, iconic landmark is the same height as the south side of the White House - 70 feet - but continues to be a popular stop for tourists. The stairway to the falls is short and not too challenging, but I still got a good glute burn. It was a short visit, but a beautiful vision of Boulder's ecosystem in motion.
Across the street, on the south side of the pass (119), were parking spaces, a bus stop, rock climbers, and kids playing in the creek, which winds its way down the pass, from the falls. It's where the fun was at, but not a porta potty in sight! Stay safe out there and respect...

Warning 1: no cell phone reception here usually, make plans for the meetup spot/time beforehand
Warning 2: can be extremely dangerous if you go off the main path. People fall and die here. It's no joke and there's no cell phone reception to get help. It's safe and easy as long as you walk reasonably on the main path.
Not suitable for dinky baby strollers, three wheeled strollers with bike style tires should be fine but be careful on the steps.
