Goblin Valley State Park Guide! 👇👇👇 ✅ Be sure to share and save this for your next trip! Goblin Valley is a must stop for a day or two when traveling through southern Utah! Don’t miss these hikes when you visit! 📍Valley of the Goblins - this open area allows you to wander through all goblin formations. There are 3 areas to wander through. The first is the most popular, but taking the extra time to go to the second and third valley is well worth it! The second Valley was one of my favorite locations in the park! 📍Carmel Canyon Trail 📍Curtis Bench Trail 📍The Goblins Lair 📍Three Sisters Trail 📍Entrada Canyon We were lucky enough to stay in one of the two yurts in the park. If you are able to book one, it is a fantastic experience! Being a dark sky park, the star gazing at night is spectacular! As always, please follow the leave no trace principles while visiting the parks. Take out any trash you bring with you including compostable material like apple cores and bread scraps and sadly now masks. If you encounter animals like squirrels, chipmunks, or marmots, please do not feed them as it encourages them to go closer to humans and steal their food (this has become a major problem in the parks). Together we can make our parks wonderful for everyone to enjoy! Tag someone you would bring here! Drop a like, save and share this post, and leave a comment with your thoughts!

It’s a fun trail for all skill levels. You can veer off to the right at the beginning to get a close look at the goblins or follow the trail to Carmel Canyon or Goblin’s Lair. We went to Goblin’s Lair but about a mile in the trail markers disappear, making it hard to know where the lair is.

On the way to Goblin's Lair, if you're lucky and there is a lot of rain from spring, you'll see the desert wildflowers! May 2019

Not a bad trail to hike on. It was fun to hike and not too hard, but there are a couple of things to know. First, bring a lot of water. Second, the trail has a few places where it is hard to follow as it is not marked well and it is hard to follow the footsteps of others who were there before you. Finally, there was one area at the end of the trail which I thought was a bit challenging to get through - you had to shimmy up a narrow area - expect to get a little bit of dirt. Otherwise,...

We started this hike trying to go to Goblin's Lair, and unfortunately found it way too windy to get very far. It wasn't windy the rest of the trip, so maybe Goblin is just a little windier sometimes. It was pretty brutal, and the sand dunes here on the hike made it...
