The Centennial tower makes very little effort to mitigate the NOISE POLLUTION that they cause over the surrounding neighborhoods. They have even taken the liberty of putting a concentrated corridor of air traffic directly over local houses. The folks routing air traffic are worse than incompetent, they actually seem to be malicious. There is a huge empty corridor that planes could be routed over. Why not use that? Our houses used to be labeled "noise sensitive areas". What changed? You used to distribute traffic fairly over all headings. Why change what worked? I don't know how we got blessed with such inconsiderate and rude neighbors but I think it is time to start calling our state and federal representatives to get some action.
When folks complain, they say to fill out their "noise form". What a joke. After 10 or 20 years of "acting" on noise complaints, the problem is just as bad as ever. If there is a response to this email here, please leave the phone numbers of real people that actually have the authority to mitigate noise so we can...
Read moreI moved into a home in DENVER COUNTY and never imagined I would be hearing noise pollution constantly from the Centennial Airport in Arapahoe County. Can the planes and private jets not fly a different route? They fly above my neighborhood day and night starting around 7am in South Denver. It’s astonishing that this is allowable.
PS…it is actually the correct place for this review. You fly private jets at 11pm over my house and then start again between 6am-7am. You hold monthly meetings for over 10 years now about noise pollution that are a total joke because you don’t actually do anything about it. You have allowed this private airport to become the busiest in the United States to line your pockets and get rich. I would like to see how you and your wealthy family like it if people started driving motorcycles by your family home at 11pm and 6am waking up babies and causing turmoil. Your greed deserves to be noted publicly on Google. Not in your “political” monthly meetings that...
Read moreToday my family dined there like we do twice a year, every year. Our check is usually between 400-600 dollars as we have a big group. We have been going to the perfect landing for 25+ years, and today we had a server who acted annoyed for every thing we asked for. The worst part is when it came time to pay, I gave her my credit card, because my husband and I wanted to pay. She took my card, ran it, and handed me the receipt with no itemized receipt. I knew there would be a gratuity added. I asked for the itemized receipt, as I thought the gratuity was added. I have been a server for 30+ years and knew she was trying to get us to add another tip. I think the worst thing about this is, our business has changed so much since covid and to think someone was willingly deceive us is heartbreaking. I will never return and will take our business elsewhere. Just be warned to double check your checks before you "accidentally...
