I mean what can I say, this course has it all. Deer Creek was Course #3 of the 2nd Annual Ron Mexico memorial. 8 men came ready to attack this course and I can not express to you how wrong we were. The course was in phenomenal shape, more than I can say for a few of our crew. Great tee boxes, even better fairways. Once we found the green is where our game really excelled. The starter was awesome. Bald guy with a raspy voice, my dude. We had two 4-somes but we had a group in between and he allowed us to play together, for which we were very appreciative. Ron would have been proud of us selecting such a beautiful course. But, this was more than golf.

Interesting course. A bit of a challenge with narrow fairways and hard ground. Our groups had some bounces in the fairway or approach that went 90 degrees from the shot. Golf carts were dirty and one sand container on cart was empty and other was half full. I guess they don't want you filling your divots. Driving range was embarrassing as the mats were worn (see picture) and the rubber tees were so beat up they were unusable. There are countless signs saying no outside food/drink yet the food/drink cart never drives around. I would say this course is only worth it if you get a discounted rate during twilight hours. Never pay full price here.

Course in good shape but most of the bunkers were unplayable and underwater. Unfortunate for a $70 course. *edit weeks later - had to leave after a 2 hr and 45 minute nine holes on Saturday after teeing off at 1036am. They gave us a refund but after the next nine I won’t be coming back.

Actually this course is one of my favorite courses to go to in the State but my complaint is not about the course but to how management handled our issue yesterday. I had booked online TeeOff for $35 per person with a cart. When I arrived they said my reservation at that price is not valid and that it just held the spot for my 4some. So when I asked how much it was the worker at the proshop said that it was $40 to walk and $55 to ride. So my reservation online had to integrity. That in my opinion is wrong. For one my friends did not bring a push cart so they were anticipating to ride. I could understand why they would be upset. But we had all driven at least 30/45 min to play and it would have been a waste to drive all that way to not play. We all ended up walking. They did give us a few push carts but after I said my friends were upset and were going home because the price wasn’t honored. I’m not sure who is the manager there but I would think to make everything right they should have honored I price I booked online with a cart. $35 with a cart instead of bait and switch us like that. We weren’t the only people who were upset about it because we heard that from other players in the parking lot. I get that this crisis has changed us all and everyone is feeling the pain but from my perspective greed and having no integrity hurt the reputation of Deer Creek. I would suggest you find a new course manager or take a long look at how the executives had set this I suppose standard? It’s golf and you call penalties on yourself and you have to live with it. Well hopefully by management doing what they did they can live with the ramifications. Deer Creek is still one of my favorite course but the manager I would question their judgement. My friend ended up making a deal to pay $35 walking because they pushed for it. I ended up paying $40 walking and really didn’t want to push to complain for $5. I mean it’s $5 more but it’s principal and integrity right. Kind of the rules of why we all play golf I would think? Kind of ashamed. I think our kids would be proud. Especially in time we...

Played 5-3-19 Friday Morning. Had a Tee time for 1109. Showed up at 9am and asked if we could go out early, and the front desk attendant told us it was wide open and should be able to get off early. We went and hit a few ball at the range, returned to see if we could get off early, and suddenly they were booked solid until our original tee time. So we waited around an hour before going off. Then after about 5 holes, the entire course backed up, there was no marshal, and it became 10 min wait times on the tee boxes. When you get to hole 8 and the call box is down, there is a phone number for the grill. We called it and the grill told us, " don't worry about calling ahead, we have a chef now so its really fast, just walk in and order and it will be right up" We we called again on 9 and requested a burger be ready for us at the turn. When we got there, IT WASNT EVEN CLOSE TO READY. So we grabbed a beer and waited, some more. When we asked if there was a food/beer cart they told us yes. Well we met her at hole 17!!!! When I got a much needed beer, they DON'T HAVE SQUARES or any way of running a card from the cart, So naturally, when I finally returned to the club house I was ready to leave! and forgot my CARD at the bar. GET A SQUARE! Its 2019 For the price, this place sucks! THE COURSE IS IN GREAT SHAPE! NOTHING AGINST THE COUSE, BUT EVERYTHING EILSE IS HORRIBLE! GO PLAY ANY of the SURROUNDING COURSES AND GET YOUR...

We went to play here for my birthday. The website says be sure to arrive no later than 5 minutes. We got there early enough to get our carts loaded and be driving up to tee 1 by 4 minutes past our tee time. We were greeted by an incredibly rude man who informed us we were 4 minutes late and he had to let someone go in front of this. He then informed us that we were messing with the whole schedule. Which started off my birthday experience pretty upsetting. They they scheduled 3 groups of 2 behind us at five minute intervals. We had to let 3 groups pass us because we felt bad that they were waiting on us to play our round. The course was gorgeous but not very friendly for my disabled sister who could not make it to all the greens. But the way we were treated from the start really ruined this place for me. The only reason it doesn't get one star is because the course is well maintained and gorgeous. Everything else was very disappointing. Spend your...
