Backcountry requires permit from the office.

Decent amound of rock scrambling. Some parts marked by cairns (do not knock down cairns). Some areas you may find an arrow scrawled somewhere when the path gets confusing. Take your time, take plenty of water, the views and experience is worth it.

Take good shoes with ankle support. Map. It's not a far hike but no cell service, recommend plb. Hot, no streams or readily available water source. No fires allowed.

You camp on the rock fins. Before you go, practice rock anchoring and dog boning. This area had very strong bursts of wind.

The moonlight is so bright, and so.many stars visible. It's breathtaking.

Be patient and again, be okay with small stints of no path markers. There were minutes I got a little scared, but we made it just fine, and I'll...

In June 2017, my wife and I decided to hike within this truly awesome place. I would highly recommend hiking here as well, but be forewarned, you absolutely must be prepared for the extremely dry air and the 95-105 degrees F that hit by 10:30-11:00 a.m.

We started our hike at 7:30 a.m. (when it was a pleasant 78 degrees F). We parked our car at the Devil's Garden Trailhead, brought 2 liters of water each, some snacks, and our cameras.

We did most of the loop, took many photos and it was a truly amazing experience. The many arches, the general scenery (and the wildlife) made this a very special experience. When we got back to our car at 11:00 a.m. the temperature was...

My wife and I loved the Devils Garden. We only had one complaint, and it's a very minor one. The road in was a b*h. It's about 9-10 miles from highway to the Devils Garden turn, but this drive took us nearly an hour. We drove it in a heavy duty full size pickup, so the vehicle has pretty stiff suspension. 20mph was pretty much our top speed, though average was far slower. It was obvious that someone has driven this road soon after rain, and they tore it up a bit. People, please stay off these roads after a rain. The washboards are almost continuous and BAD! It would be nice if the road could be graded. But the scenery here was awesome! The name...

Details here ⬇️ Save this reel for a sampling of what this beautiful state offers. Remember to leave these special places better than you found them, stay on the trail (and off cryptobiotic soils), pack out absolutely everything, don’t mark up rocks or trees, and be a good human. 📍Arches NP - the quietest time to visit with no need for a timed entry permit. Just make sure to pack your microspikes for traction. 🥾Devil’s Garden 🥾Windows Loop 📍Wasatch Mountains- Have your snowglobe moment hiking to frozen lakes, waterfalls, and among snow-covered trees. Make sure to consult the Avalanche report before venturing out. 🥾Waterfall Canyon 🥾Lower Bell Canyon Falls 📍Escalante - A national park-worthy experience with slot canyons, hoodoos, waterfalls, and arches, this place has it all. 🥾Singing Canyon 🥾Devil’s Garden ( not the same as Arches NP) 📍Capitol Reef NP - an underrated park with three districts. Plan to visit them all to maximize your experience. 🥾Cathedrals Trail 🥾Cohab Canyon 📍Vernal - a family and dog-friendly playground 🥾Fantasy Canyon 🥾Moonshine Arch 📍Zion NP + Region - the perfect time to hike in the water (weather permitting- no hiking in case of storms due to flash flood risk) In addition to the Narrows, try 🥾The Subway (permit required) 🥾Kanarra Falls 📍Uintas Mountains - The perfect way to escape the summer heat. 🥾Bald Mountain 🥾 20 Lake Loop 📍Logan Canyon - beautiful year-round summer brings wildflowers and cooler temps. 🥾Wind Caves 🥾Tony Grove (fee on national parks pass) 📍San Rafael Swell -so much more than Goblin Valley but remote, so make sure to do your research 🥾 Colonnade Arch ( high clearance required) 🥾Wildhorse and Bell Canyons 📍Canyonlands National Park, the Needles district is my favorite 🥾Chesler Park 🥾Druid Arch 📍Kanab a pet-friendly mecca that is so much more than the Wave 🥾Wire pass 🥾Toadstool Hoodoos 📍Bryce Canyon -Best experienced in the snow, in my opinion 🥾Navajo Loop 🥾Mossy Cave Which place are you exploring first? #utahstateparks #dogfriendly #utahhiking #hikingadventures #visitutah #zionnationalpark #brycecanyonnationalpark

1 DAY AT ARCHES NATIONAL PARK 🤩 Spending one day at Arches National Park is a feat, but it can be done. There are so many arches at this park. It could be overwhelming, but with this itinerary, you can see so many arches in one day. Here’s what to see from start to finish ⬇️ 🔆 start your morning off by hiking to Delicate Arch 🔆 Sand Dune Arch 🔆 Skyline Arch 🔆 Hike the Devil’s garden where you can see so many arches like Landscape Arch 🔆 Balancing Rock 🔆 Double Arch and the windows 🔆 Park Avenue With this itinerary, it takes 5 hours to complete. Just make sure you start early. Especially with Delicate Arch being the most popular arch in the park. I recommend starting your day at 7AM. Have you been to Arches National park before let us know in the comments below and do you have a favorite arch? Any advice you can give to those looking to visit? #travel #adventure #adventuretravel #explore #nationalpark #archesnationalpark
