Don't take your family here unless you have a boat to enjoy the water.

Not enough images of the spots on the website, and the images they do show are clearly several years old.

They have two cabins, one cabin the RHCB is vastly inferior as opposed to the other cabin SRCB. The second cabin has a much nicer paved walkway, firepit, and is not overgrown with weeds like the RHCB. The RHCB was missing a screen in the window, and also had a huge mess of hornets trying to burrow into the wood, meaning we couldn't even open the second window for air flow.

They're charging the SAME price for these cabins and the website doesn't show you, you just have to pick one. We picked wrong.

Highly doubt the futon had been properly cleaned in a long time. Cabin was very musty. No proper launch near the cabin for kayaks, only a dangerous drop off for dogs and kids.

We asked to switch cabins and the attendant seemed dumbfounded that we even asked. Said a manager would need to give the approval to swap, I watched as they fumbled around and clicked a few things on a screen. No manager was called and they lied and said it was "Reserved" so we couldn't switch to the nicer cabin.

We spent the whole night and guess what? No one showed up to the other cabin, it was not occupied, they just didn't care about their lackluster amenities or how we felt gipped.

Go blow $120 elsewhere. This place will leave a sour taste in your mouth if you're the one...

For the beach alone I would give it a five star review! The water is clear and the beach is nice. It’s fun to swim , kayak, paddle board etc. I love seeing the geese, although they make a huge mess with their poop. We stayed in a cabin which was really nice, with some drawbacks. First of all, you have no bathroom nearby. The closest one is across the parking lot. If you’re like me and have to go in the middle of the night, you have to walk across it in the dark. The beds were a bit hard for me and and kind of small, they do say their double beds though but 6 people would have a hard time fitting. The couch bed was softer, but it needs oiling because it’s super loud. There is not an easy access to the water, we had to drag our kayaks down a steep hill. Also the access from the parking lot was steep. Overall it kept us comfortable during the random wind storm and we had fun playing in the water and hiking nearby. The nearest town is 18 minutes away. We stayed in a yurt last year which was nice in a different way. It was bigger and had a huge deck with a propane grill. The downside was this one had no a/c but did have a fireplace for warmth. I wish it had an option to close the dome on top because summer doesn’t get dark until late and it’s impossible to sleep in the bright light. If I could recommend a few things I would say put a bathroom closer to the cabins, fix the stairs to the cabins, put in blackout curtains in...

What a great camping experience. We wanted to provide a rewarding, relaxing camping/fishing time for my husband's company employees. I booked our reservations through Reserve America and that proved easy and very helpful phone conversation. With two phone calls (only necessary to add a Yurt to the reservation) our weekend plans were set. We arrived at the park and were greeted by a very enthusiastic, friendly young lady at the gate. We parked at our site and just minutes later, we were welcomed by Bridget who provided dog bags in case we needed them and to ensure we were aware of the 12 noon check out time. Bridget was the most delightful camp host I've had the pleasure to meet. We had a beautiful time there. And as we were leaving, we stopped at the dumping station. Bridget's husband, Robert, came speeding up to us to let us know we had forgotten an expensive folding table at our site. He had it with him and got it out of the back of the golf cart. Then I remembered that we had also forgotten our crawdad trap at the Yurt. Robert tore off after it while we dumped our holding tank. They are friendly, helpful, fun and hard working people. They take great care of the grounds. The place looked better than ever. I can't say enough about Reserve America, East Canyon Campground and Bridget and Robert. Now if you go, please say hello to the hosts from...

Beautiful and peaceful. We watched an amphibious tank take to the water -- great fun. It was nice to simply sit around the cabin doing absolutely nothing, unlike the busy-ness of today. We were right next to an osprey nest with three fledglings. Boy, we're they demanding! The photos weren't great. The ranger was very nice but was "hesitant" about open-carry. Smiles, but... Never had a problem with cops. He must have some "challenging" experiences in the past. So, give him some slack. The showers closest to the cabins did not work. At all. If you are a camper, the showers at the other end are satisfactory. It's not clear in the online description: bring your own gas or electric grill. Also, they do not permit cooking or eating in the structures. You have to use the picnic tables.
