El Dorado Hot Springs — Attraction in Four Corners States

Myself n dozens of traveling friends totally remodeled and updated this place.we worked 4 hours hard each day for 3 months in '14 to bring this neglected n mismanaged place back on the map. It worked. People were happy, the online ratings shot sky high and the female owner started to receive triple of all her previous years of owning this resort. Then she left it all in the hand of the "manager",Matt Kamowski. in a single summer season, while the tight knit road family n friends escaped the heat and enjoyed a couple months of traveling etc, this man alone destroyed the very core of what we had created; a family, male, female safe , respectful and friendly place to enjoy the waters,along or with friends, that, in person and in online reviews was lovingly referred to as 'artistic people', 'super friendly and helpful staff', 'family' to some regular guests etc. With a mention of the owner 'investing alot in a total update on the infrastructure, landscaping and management of the springs, which definitely not the owner, nor Matt Kamowski had any influence or creation on/in. We did this solely by/ from our hearts. Current reviews still now mention as what they enjoy of this spring resort and referred to in current reviews online, here aswell as Yelp etc, is all we did for this place, the guests and the owner. 3 months in 2014 did we leave this guy to watch over a slow, out kf season hotspring. We trickled back in in October and through the rest of that winter. Within 2 more months Matt Kamowski (""manager"") had burned down the electricians personal trailer,out of jealousy towards his ex girlfriend being friends with our electrician.he burned down, and risked lives of people and animals, aswell as private and company property when he later set fire to the whole property line consisting of bamboo. He was caught several times trying to spy on his ex girlfriend who still lived on the work campers side of the property. Once the bamboo was all burned down he then had a clear view from the office to spy, stalk and harrass his ex till she left in fear. When i confronted him on hos letting the park jist recede back into being empty, negative, creepy, perv paradise, prostitutes galore, gay sexual acts in the public area, sexual harrasmnet by guests who are friends of Matt Kamowski, stalking at night where people were allowed, defended and protected by Matt in allowing them to peek through fences, fondle and stalk female workcamping, unpaid employees.i have and can and will supply anyone the over 20 hours of recordings of him threatening my life, to kill me and bury me in the desert,to shoot my dog on sight, harassing and stalking my camp, day and night.Throwing rocks at my tent @several occasions (i have the 15 minutes video of the officer that showed up when i numerous times n upon request pf the local Sherriffs office had to call 911 for assistance against Matt Kamowski's threats,intimidation, assaulting with deadly weapons)those with desire n knowledge to remodel whole property,adding a tub area, sewer/water/power hookup workcamp area, immaculate paths and walkways, art made by us continued till the very last of the, at least,100 traveling friends and family that put all their love and hard work into that for profit spring. While,by law, she was/still is supposed to pay each n everyone who works/ed there at least minimum wage for each of their 4 hours worked a day.i myself was the initial person who ran into this spring while hitchhiking through to Quartzsite,after the night i helped a few hours with some repairs,felt useful n stayed.iput word out how we could change this neglected, broken,dangerous and very SHADY hotspring into.Within a month dozens of friends, our traveling family where coming through, putting in their energy n love.Matt Kamowski erases logs in the 'books' giving himself $1000's of company income. We worked unpaid,went hungry, we invested ourselfs.matt lifted cash daily to feed his drug and prostitute habits while threatening,stealing,stalking,sexual harrasing (and allowing his friends to spy...

If I could not put a star and start a review I would have! We searched for hot springs and then got lead to a National website, where this place had ‘by some miracle’ got to lay claim to be on this page! Some woman’s records a video and talks the place up—she is wrong! We tried to find a number to confirm or book ‘private pool’ area with no luck. So we pop in address in Navigation and take the hour drive from Scottsdale.

We got there and it looked like setting for a scary movie. Big property, large overgrown bamboo spaces, couple of RVs and ranch equipment scattered in different spots of the land. Peacocks and chickens wandering about. We decided to be brave and walk around. There was a gate, with a sign that says ‘Open’ and we enter & walk the path to the office. There is a big bell to ring to get support. Rang it. No one appears. Ring it again. Again no one. So decide to walk around, hopefully find a living person. We found one open private pool area that looked decent. A-lot of areas that were in progress/work etc.

Anyway we decided to claim the private hot pool & ask for forgiveness or pay the price and get the supposed ‘mineral’ hot spring soak we came for. We moved the car around, to park closer and carried our stuff from the car.

We go back out of the private area in search of a bathroom … there at the office is a man on the poach smoking a cigarette watching us. (No not scary movie like watching us).

We great him, apologize, fess to our almost transaction and ask how to make it right? He replies, ‘we do do reservations for the private area.’ I reply, we checked the website, traveled from Phoenix & asked is there anything we can do to make it happen, we are willing to pay?’ He says we are closed, last day of the season is October (notice post date) and they’re under renovation.’ We are like, ok this is our bad. Sorry we didn’t realize the place was closed. He shouts out, ‘Private places require 3 days ahead to reserve.’

Anyway we grab all our stuff…walking back to the car.. and leave, with a ‘ Sorry to bother, have a great one!,’ out of our mouths. The man on poach, ‘Nothing!’

Ok why do say this place sucks— If your advertising hours Nationally, social media etc…update for accuracy. Respond to inquiries....

Wow! Just wow! I have absolutely no clue what planet people are on who post bad stuff about this place. Now, because there are several staff members it's always possible that somebody can be having an off day but I have only seen these people be extremely kind, helpful and very welcoming. I have such severe issues with my body and I'm always looking for therapeutic things to do to help me feel better and I just can't even believe that I waited all this time and that I didn't know about this place sooner. I checked out the place last week and I had A two hour soak in Desert view, which by the way is not as hot as some of them but totally still very comfortable and therapeutic.

Then I loved it so much that I decided to come back and spend a couple of nights camping and having soaks every day and my friend and I are doing a juice fast while she is here in her RV and it is the absolute perfect setting to do something like this, you literally feel like you are at a Therapeutic spa or as if you were on a cleanse retreat in Costa Rica. However, without the price tag and just a lot more rustic. I am somebody who in my former life would normally not even be able to hang here but I have allowed myself to be flexible and open up in recent years and I am so happy that I am more open because this place is literally heaven on earth!

The water is helping my severe psoriasis so much and I have been drinking it also since last week. I cannot get enough of this place and this is absolutely my new go to place. The water is silky and the steam that comes up from the water just makes you feel like you are literally in a beautiful tropical country soaking in the natural spring waters. The way they have everything separated into little places and they all have a theme is very cool and I totally dig it.

Oh and today I had probably the best massage I have had in a very long time with Tina Rogers. If you want a massage while you're here definitely give her a call she definitely knows what she's doing and is a wonderful person! Come here! You will absolutely not regret it! I am coming back again next week to try out a cabin for the first time with another friend. I can see myself introducing so many people to this...
