This is Bryce Canyon’s best kept secret: You can hike the 8 mile Fairyland loop trail throughout 1/4 of Bryce Canyon without having to pay the entrance fee or hiking with hoards of tourists. Just follow the turn off before the park entrance. This is the most peaceful trail. The trail ties to sunrise point/queens garden and if you’re really going for it, you can keep going further in to sunset point, and inspiration point. Just remember, the only way you’re getting back to your car is to do the minimum 2.5 mile hike around the outer rim, which starts near sunrise point. Also watch out for thunderstorms during summer and pack accordingly, we Floridians didn’t and were freezing for part of the hike when the winds, rain, thunder and lightning came in. Definitely interesting experience due to sudden change in weather, but there was only one dangerous muddy portion near the link to sunrise point, which we bypassed on the way back due to a very helpful hiker! The elevation changes are moderate, nothing overwhelming until you start going up from the bottom of the Navajo loop trail (you’ll feel that one). We of course paid the entrance fee to get the inside info from the visitor center, you obviously should support your...

Bryce Canyon National Park is home to some of the most breathtaking scenery in the United States, and the Fairyland Loop trail is no exception. While it is a longer hike, it is well worth the effort for those who want to experience the full beauty of the area. The trail winds through awe-inspiring landscapes, including towering hoodoos, deep canyons, and sweeping vistas. Along the way, hikers will encounter a variety of flora and fauna, adding to the overall sense of wonder and enchantment. Whether you're an experienced hiker or a novice, the Fairyland Loop trail is a must-see destination that will leave you with memories that...

The Fairyland Loop hike may be my favorite hike in Bryce Canyon National Park. The views were spectacular the entire hike! There were multiple times it felt like I had stepped off our home planet and entered another world. I genuinely couldn’t stop taking photos. The trail was well marked and maintained, so there was never a challenge with getting lost. This hike encompassed Fairyland Point and the rim trail north of Sunrise Point, which is where we started. All-in-all, the entire loop was about 8 miles of peaceful, breathtaking views. If you do any hike in this park, let it...
