That was simple Wednesday in the gorgeous state of Arizona and I with my Family happened to pass the Deer Farm so like any respecting themselves samaritans we turned back and stopped by.
Unmatched experience with the best educated and skillfully trained personal. They have explained us everything we need to know, and asked to not wash our shoes in the sink. At first I thought that it was some kind of local ritual, but then in second realized what that was probably about (deer poop, in case you didn’t get Idk).
If you getting thirsty much more often, especially at the times u ate lots of sour crawlers, ice-cream, snickers, crackers and other snacks, urge to consume which has absolutely nothing to do with nothing, except uncontrollable desire to consume such of course (not my particular case) - plan ahead and fill your hump with water before like a camel (which this guys have). Otherwise they will tell you to leave your drink where you can see it but unable to taste and you will be coming back and forth, which is cruel but also good for cardio so overall I’m satisfied.
My family had wonderful time, my homeboy Tony got himself kissed everywhere(reasonable) by the deers and pet as much of em as he could imagine. Good.
You should be careful when feeding the deers so they will not try to eat you. Okay okay, your clothes not you but still no fun - check the photo section if you don’t want to end up like us and always listen to your moma. (no human or a deer was harmed during this operation).
One of the main beauty’s of this place is actually one they will never tell you about. You can literally see the whole chocolate m&m’s factory in motion as well as orange Squirt soda, so exciting and fascinating! I cought a few HD pictures for you guys so you can enjoy as well. And that’s all for just 20$, can you imagine??!
On top of the deers guys out here have a whole bunch of wildlife, I even found a groundhog and a crow. Thrilling! One goat out there have a beard bigger then mine:( Every pig has its own pool and alpacas having a sleeping masks. Wish I live like this!
My girl got her satisfaction like in Benny Benassi’s music video from 2000’s and now we on the way to the nearest Denny’s where we, in a family atmosphere and fashionable manner, will discuss such a wonderful and productive time well spent at the Deer Farm!
Definitely coming back! Definitely a must see!
P.S. Give Gail a raise, I tried to play funny business(not on purpose) and she was quick and efficient for her years. My respect to you mam and thank again for the wonderful time at your farm.
Friendly gesture....
Read moreFor the majority of my experience here, it was a great time. My partner & I paid for tickets and one cup of food and we were immediately hounded by deer until the cup was emptied. That was a lot of fun, so we bought a refill. My partner wanted to take some pictures in his fursuit partial so we asked one of the employees if that was okay. We were told to just be worried about the deer biting at his flowers. In total, we walked around for an hour and half, with about an hour of him bringing his fursuit head. Multiple employees shared that it was cool & talked about how during Halloween they had someone come by with a bear costume too. As we were leaving, a new employee came up to us and very rudely told us that we had to keep the fursuit head away from the deer because "it was a hazard for the animals." We said okay and then were going to put it down on a table and away from the animals. She then told us that we HAD to put it into the car because it could not be left unattended. She also took my feeding cup away stating that it is also a hazard for the goats, even though it was both empty and we were not told anything prior about it being an issue to have just the empty cup. Multiple other attendees pointed out to us that the worker was being unreasonably aggressive, which was a nice thing to hear given how much of a damper this experience at the end put on our hour & a half trip there.
Anyways, the place is cool and it was a good time. I recommend going there, it is cheap and an enjoyable time. Due to the poor interaction we had at the end with one of the workers, I don't plan to return. Still, I know this experience is not going to be the norm for others and I hope those who choose to attend have as great of an experience as we had ignoring the...
Read moreThis place is such a fantastic experience! There are several unique photo props, which our grandson enjoys. All the animals are rescued from every situation from people attempting to make them pets to wounded and/abandoned cases. They have a large heard of American deer a couple of Japanese deer, rain deer, 2 beautiful large porcupines, a sweet camel, a few mini horses, a couple of small donkeys, lamas, a few pot belly pigs, a few goats, a few adorable Japanese species of hand sized monkeys, a VERY talkative large white cockatoo and a few other animals. The deer come eat out of your hand and there is a small petting area...all of the animals seem to enjoy the attention and admiration. The staff are kind, VERY knowledgeable and eager to ensure each guest has a memorable and educational experience. It was $11.50 for each adult $6.75 for our 10 year old, plus a couple dollars for a cup of feed and you can keep the cup as a souvenir, if you wish, or they can re-use it. Then there is their shop! Oh, a wonderland of unique trinkets! I usually pick up a couple pieces of jewelry (they have some interesting locally hand made choices along with shopped out items). Our grandson chose a bear claw back scratcher, 1 for each hand (brilliant man), and a bag full of magnetic stones that he spent a long time deciding upon each. Also, because for me, a bathroom can either enhance or severely damper an experience, they have clean and cute bathrooms...with hand painted hoof prints and barn style stall doors. Overall, the deer farm is a must do and equally enjoyable for any age. We love...
