Such a beautiful and unique hike. After traversing a couple hundred stairs, the trail loops around to view ancient cliff dwellings. You walk along about midway down a deep canyon. Views across the canyon give peeks at undisturbed dwellings. If you go early spring, the snowmelt makes the river flow below.

There are lots of educational signs along the route explaining the history of the location.
